Press Release: Award Announcements

Norris Furniture & Interiors Reigns Supreme with Florida Lifestyle Homes Designs

NAPLES, Fla. (March 27, 2018) – Norris Furniture & Interiors is pleased to announce its most recent accolades, Superior Home Award and Merit Award, for their Florida Lifestyle Homes designs at the 23rd Annual LBIA & CBIA Parade of Homes. The St. Martin II Model in Quail West and the Siesta Key Model in the Naples Reserve were expertly styled by the talented twosome, Luanza Maitland and Sydney Leigh Warren.

“We are so proud of the award-winning design team here at Norris,” said Larry Norris, Owner of Norris Furniture & Interiors. “Every year they continue to amaze us with their innovative work in SWFL communities.”

The award-winning Siesta Key model features a “textural organic” design flow. The earthy natural elements extend throughout the home and into the main sitting area of the open concept home completing the visually appealing accent wall with faux plantation shutters and burlap details. Wood tiles and green leaf wallpaper add to the organic feel accentuating the study area.

The St. Martin II model interior is fitted with transitional modern designs by the team. Maitland and Warren made the decision with this home to balance design styles with two-toned surfaces such as the darker stove hood in the kitchen offset by the lighter cabinets. The modern clean lines and one-of-a-kind features continue into the elegantly composed home highlighting floating wood panels and warm gray-scale color palette with gold accents.

Maitland and Warren start their design process by creating a design board that includes all aspects of the homes’ interior design including the color palette, new and unique fabrics, furniture pieces and much more. When the team steps in to start the project, they are given blueprints and all final decisions from plumbing, flooring, wall colors, window treatments and furnishing are made by Maitland and Warren. Their expertise is truly shown in these beautiful model homes made to please any Florida home owner.

Bigger and better than ever, the 2018 Parade of Homes™ offers residents and visitors the opportunity to explore a variety of exquisite homes in exclusive neighborhoods. Home designs awarded with the Superior Home and Merit Awards are recognized as a high honor each year at the BIA Parade of Homes awards ceremonies.
